installing over peel and stick

My kitchen currently has peel and stick tile. There are a couple of places where a tile is coming up and another tile is torn. Can I install over these?

Peel and stick tile typically is pretty thin, so if you removed the loose pieces you should be fine to install over the tile. If the tile is thicker( 1/8") then after you remove the loose tiles you will have to fill the areas with a patching compound.
