The grout seemed to "settle" a little bit, leaving the edges visible...once the grout has cured can I add more to level the spaces?

The Avaire Flexible Grout is designed to adhere to itself. You can definitely add more to level any un-even areas. You can apply a subsequent layer after 24 hours.
