I am unable to devote entire days to working on installing the tile due to work and I am a little over half way done. Is it okay to walk on the tile that is installed before its grouted??

And this may be kind of a silly question but do people installing tile over existing floors generally use quarter round? Our trim is to the floor so there is no gap for the tile. I found this out after I removed the existing quarter round. I am not a big fan of it but outside of replacing the trim, this seems like the only solution. Is this what you would recommend??

Walking on raw Avaire tile shouldn't be an issue. Moving heavy objects over the ungrouted tile wouldn't be a good idea however.

All tile installations should have an expansion gap at the walls of about 1/4". If you choose not to remove the existing baseboard then quarter-round or shoe-mold would be in order. Some people want to grout the tile tightly to the existing baseboard but that is never a good idea.:)
