Any suggestions on the best way to remove the plastic tabs on the perimeter tiles?

We usually just use the wetsaw to cut off the tabs around the perimeter. Probably overkill, but there is usually one on site, and if you happen to nick the tile, you don't ruin the blade. As always, please use appropriate safety precautions and protection when using the wet saw including eye protection!

Send us a picture of your floor when you are finished!

I might add that typically when you lay out a room for a tile installation you try to balance the cuts that occur at the walls on either side of the room. When doing so most times the tiles at the wall must be cut of course, and this will automatically eliminate the tabs. Maybe the off-fall piece can be used elsewhere when the tabs of the off-fall are allowed to remain in tact.
