All ceramic tile installations (whether floating or rigid installations) would require a perimeter gap for expansion. The Tile Council of North America recommends one leave a 1/4" gap all around the perimeter of the tiled area for this purpose.

Should you then want to caulk that gap with a flexible CAULK I suppose you could but covering the gap with the baseboard or various trims would be the thing to do.

Generally, we recommend using a color matched caulk around the perimeter. The main part of the floor should be grouted using only Avaire Flexible Grout.

Grout around perimeter

Do you grout around the perimeter of the avaire tiles or along between them?
