Author: Jonathan Date: 4/10/2008 9:36 pm EDT Probably the easiest solution, assuming you no longer need the slope to the drain on this side of the wall, is to fill the sloped area with a cement based self leveling compound. You'll want to verify that the material is designed for the depth required. You definitely want the floor to be flat. The rule of thumb is "if the tile rocks, its not flat enough". |

drain slope Author: STEVE69 Date: 4/10/2008 1:00 pm EDT Hi guys I have a drain but its on the other side of wall I installed in the basement. I also have a slope in the cement. How do I deal with this before installing the avaire tile. Its probably a 3/8 slope in a 3 to 4 feet area. Thanks for the help. Steve |
