Author: Chris Date: 4/14/2008 8:49 pm EDT Avaire tile is a floating installation system so it isn't recommended for use on stairs, acually the 6x6 Avaire tiles are designed for use as an accent tile and not to be used as a field tile by itself. Some installers have installed Avaire tile on stairs without any problems, but not enough research has been done to provide an installation method and an adhesive that will ensure a safe and beautiful installation. I'm sure something is in the works. Great question! |

Avaire tile on staircases Author: genna Date: 4/14/2008 10:56 am EDT I was wondering if its possible to use Avaire tile (6X6) for staircases? Do they still snap when one tile is vertical? OR do you NOT recommend it for staircases? |
