Walking on raw Avaire tile shouldn't be an issue. Moving heavy objects over the ungrouted tile wouldn't be a good idea however.

All tile installations should have an expansion gap at the walls of about 1/4". If you choose not to remove the existing baseboard then quarter-round or shoe-mold would be in order. Some people want to grout the tile tightly to the existing baseboard but that is never a good idea.

I am unable to devote entire days to working on installing the tile due to work and I am a little over half way done. Is it okay to walk on the tile that is installed before its grouted??

And this may be kind of a silly question but do people installing tile over existing floors generally use quarter round? Our trim is to the floor so there is no gap for the tile. I found this out after I removed the existing quarter round. I am not a big fan of it but outside of replacing the trim, this seems like the only solution. Is this what you would recommend??
