Flat floor but not level?

Here is my one question/concern, I am wanting to add avaire tile on top of existing linoleum in good condition, no squeaks from the subfloor and the floor is flat (no dips or high spots). My problem lies in the fact that the entire floor is evenly 'not level' meaning that over the course of the whole room it is moving in a downward (or upward depending on where you face) direction. Total drop or raise is likely somewhere around 1/2 of an inch over the total 11 feet distance of the room.

Will this be a problem since it is greater than the 1/4" - 10' level specification that avaire claims is the max?

Any help or comments are appreciated.

I have the same problem in my bathroom. I assumed that since a straight edge laid flat on the floor that it would be ok. Hope that's true.

Flat is what the goal is. If the is a slight slope 1/2" in 11' will be fine.
