Cutting hole in tile

The layout of the tile in my powder room is such that the drain hole for the toilet lands in the middle of the tile.

How do I cut a nice hole in the middle of the tile to accomodate the drain?

The hole doesn't really have to be "nice". As long as the cuts don't exceed the limits of the fixtures footprint the cut doesn't have to be pretty.

Depending on which type of wetsaw you are using you can make a series of "plunge cuts" to cut away the necessary tile.

One thing to remember is with a drain there usually is some slope, make sure the floor is within tolerance, and drains are usally in wet areas, make sure the location is appropriate.

Chris THIS is a toilet drain flange not a wet area floor drain. No slope. :)
