I am seriously contemplating using avaire when I refinish my bathroom over a vinyl floor. I am how I am going to finish the edges i.e. the baseboard. I am not a fan of vinyl baseboard. I prefer the look frequently used in traditional porcelain tile where they use half a tile and create a baseboard or they use bull-nose shaped tile to finish it off. It is a nice clean crisp look.. Is there any contra-indication to attaching the product to the wall after cutting it down to size and the obviously grouting it? You would be seeing a cross-section of the tile. What would that look like??

Avaire could be cut in half and then adhered to the wall with a strong construction adhesive. However, you would see the cross-section of the tray unless you ran a bead of grout and/or caulk across the top edge.
The other option would be to color-match a traditional tile and use that for the baseboard.
Good Luck! Let us know how the floor turns out - perhaps post a picture.
