Do you caulk or grout the edge next to a shower?Do you still keep the 1/4 inch space or but it flush to the shower base edge? The same question to the edge all around.

Thanks

Next to a shower you will want to use a caulk. the flexible grout may not be flexilbe enough to create a watertight seal at the shower base.

If you start the installation at the shower base you would be able to decrease the size of the gap to 1/8". this will make it eaiser to caulk.

Use a silicone colormatched caulk. Laticrete's Latisil has about 30 colors.
