grout sealer

Date: 3/31/2008 9:49 pm EDT Just finished installing the moss Avaire as an entry way in front of our newly installed sliding glass door. I love the way it looks w/ our wood/laminate floor, and it was pretty easy too. The only thing that made it slightly more difficult for us was that we decided to use the diamond pattern which required a little more cutting. But it turned out beautifully. Also after reading your discussion board I learned that Krud Kutter worked well on cleaning the grout residue. I bought some today and it worked and was much easier than the other citrus cleaner I tried first. Anyway my question is whether or not we should apply a sealer to the grout. The instructions do not say anything about it, but I have been told that grout should be sealed, plus since this is an entrance way in may see more mud and dirt, especially w/ the dogs going in and out. |
