I pulled up a corner of the carpet and the adhesive, which is probably over the whole area, is just a little tacky to the touch and the combing ridges are around 1mm after being squashed by the carpet backing (low loop berber, possibly indoor-outdoor), none of the backing seems to stay on the floor. I don't think there will be a problem with sliding the tiles on it, but if need be probably a light dusting of chalk would eliminate the tack.
