Date: 9/13/2008 3:39 pm EDT On the container of grout, it says to let the grout cure for 72 hours. Does this mean you can't put anything on the tile during this time. I have put the Avaire tile in my laundry room and I have my new washer and dryer being deliverd in two days. |

Date: 9/13/2008 6:50 pm EDT You can install your new washer and dryer even after 48 hours. Be careful as the grout could be scratched by the appliance feet. If that happens, just apply a repair layer later. |

Date: 9/13/2008 8:37 pm EDT Would I be able to use the washer after 48 hours or would the vibration of movement do something to the grout? |

Date: 9/27/2008 11:19 am EDT (Sorry for the delay in the public response - we did respond privately to Lisa). If possible, we'd suggested avoiding vibrations from the washer for another 48 hours. As a reminder, after you grout: Avoid use for 24 hours Only light traffic from 24-72 hours No cleaners, staining materials, or scrubbing for 7 days |
