Date: 5/28/2009 10:08 am EDT I am going to install my first Avaire floor in one of my bathrooms this weekend and have a question about the best way to cut the tile. I need to cut a "U" in the tile for it to fit around my register and wondering what is the best way to do this? I am picking up a wet saw tomorrow to do the straight cuts but a bit perplexed about how to get around this register??? any help would be appreciated, very new at this... Thanks |

Date: 5/28/2009 4:50 pm EDT Depending on the type of wet saw you have, "U" cuts can be made with just the saw. When you mark the area to be cut make a series of cuts about 1/2" apart then you should be able to just snap the tiles and cut the remaining tray with a utility knife,or an angle grinder with a diamond blade works great.Let me know if this makes sense! |
