Default Basement application

I have a basement that is finished and the floor has asbestos tile on it which is expensive to get up but is ok if left alone. We also have linoleum over the top of that in a couple of rooms which has asbestos in it too. We have had laminate and carpet on it until the recent flooding that happened a couple of weeks ago. We want to put down a floor that will handle occasional seepage from heavy rains. Will the avaire work in my situation if i silicone caulk around the edges to keep the water out? The amout of water was about an 1/8" to 1/4". Would the grout hold the water till I can vacuum it up.
We normally don't have a problem with seepage but we had 17.8" of rain in less than a 48 hr. peroid.
