Does the existing floor need to be leveled?

We are considering using Avaire in our bathroom. The floor seems to plane to the center somewhat. Can the Avaire tiles still be layed over that existing floor, and if not, what would need to be done to make that happen? And is there any allowence for the plane? Thank You
