My husband and I have gutted our master bath and are unecided about the new floor. Can Avaire tile be used in a mobile home over a plywood floor?

I would say yes providing the floor structure will carry the weight of the tile and your subfloor thickness is suitable. Your floor still must meet the 1/4" in 10' requirement for flatness.

If there is a lot of flex in an older mobile home floor I don't think I would use the tile because the demands on the grout would likely be out of limits.

The grout used by Avaire (tho noted to be flexible grout) IS NOT in fact flexible in the since that it will survive repeated movement and flexing between the tiles that are a result of a substrate that is out-of-tolerance. Elderly mobile homes are notorious for this type of situation. No grout will survive that punishment. Not even Star Quartz.

Don't worry too much about the grout comment from Journeyman's reply - Avaire uses a patented urethane grout system that provides for the potential flexibility.

Sorry! I managed to get my above post out of sequence, it belongs here as a response to Bob H and his comments.
