Installing next to a threshold

I am installing Avaire tile in a foyer and there is an entrance door there. The tiles will come within 1/8 of an inch to the top of the threshold. My question is will I be able to cut the tiles an eighth of an inch short and grout up to the threshold? I do not have enough height to install a moulding.
