Do I need to apply a grout sealer and if so how long after the grout has been applied should grout sealer be applied?

Generally speaking, Avaire Flexible Grout does not need to be sealed.

However, if you really want to seal it, please wait 3-4 days before you apply a grout sealer.

Avaire Flexible Grout is urethane-based and is different from other grout products on the market. Our grout manufacturer has recommended that if you want to seal the grout, Aqua Mix Enrich 'N' Seal is compatible.

If you use another brand of sealer, I would suggest trying it first in a out-of-the-way corner of the room, and/or contact the grout sealer maker and ask if their product is compatible with a Urethane-based grout.

What do you mean by a citrus based cleaner. We have 409 Orange Power which contains natural orange oil. It is a spray on and wipe type cleaner. We also have Lysol Lemon Breeze that you add to water. It has a lemon scent, but I am not sure if it is citrus based. Can you name a specific cleaner that you recommend?

For cleaning an grout residue, we recommend a product called Krud Kutter. It is sold at Menards, but typically in the paint department.

For day-to-day cleaning, a damp mop will handle most tile clean-up.

The grout, while stain resistant, will need to be cleaned from time to time. We recommend Soft-Scrub with Bleach and a soft bristle brush for cleaning the grout.
