grouting

Date: 10/29/2008 11:42 pm EDT I am ready to start grouting and I have a question. I have never done this before, nor have I ever had tiled floors. My question is should the grout be level with the tile? I tried it in the area where my stove goes to get the hang of it in a place that is not seen  and it seems like there is a slight dip in the grout level compared to the tile.
