Date: 7/22/2008 1:20 pm EDT We have a cement floor family room on the main level not basement. It has had tile and has slight ripple from glue, is it possible to put the paper foam that is used for laminate wood down to make it a smoother surface and then install the new floor? We would prefer not to have to re-cement the entire room, it is level enough. |

Date: 7/22/2008 9:11 pm EDT Avaire tile can be install over Quiet Warmth, a heated floor system that uses a dense pad similar to laminate flooring underlayment. I don't see a problem using the pad under Avaire tile.Remember to ensure your floor is flat within tolerance and you will be fine. Send photos |
