Is the flex-grout paintable?

Hi,

I'm really wanting a dark, chocolate brown grout for whichever tile install I go with(Avaire or regular), to match the colors in my room.

Considering the limited variety of flexgrout colors, would I be able to paint the grout to my desired color, once it is cured?

Or maybe there is a way to color it before applying. ..whaddaya think?

Good question.

We do not know any product we can recommend for "painting" or modifying the color of Avaire Flexible Grout.

One thing to note - not all retailers carry all avaialble colors. Where are you considering purchasing Avaire? We might be able to work a Special Order deal to get you the color you want.

Hi again,

I'm in Winnipeg, Canada. I did see the 'Sienna' color of grout at my local Home Depot, but it's not really brown like I'm looking for...more of a dark gray.

The 'Taupe' listed here on this website would work well if it were quite a bit darker.

If you can mix me a 'Special Order'(custom color) grout, I'll place my order!
